About the role
This role is focused on building and modernizing Java-based systems. You will work on legacy application migration, system design, and service-oriented development across existing and newer platforms.
The position is hybrid, with locations in Hyderabad or Bengaluru. It calls for hands-on engineering work in Java, Spring Boot, and integration-heavy environments.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
- Work with JBoss and Tomcat based application environments.
- Support integration work using MQ and JMS.
- Contribute to migration of legacy systems to newer versions and cleaner designs.
- Build and evolve microservices with a focus on clean code and DDD principles.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes in the delivery and deployment process.
What we're looking for
- 7 to 12 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JBoss, and Tomcat.
- Experience with integration systems such as MQ and JMS.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to legacy system modernization or application migration.
- Good communication skills and experience working on design-focused engineering work.
