QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to focus on functional and automation testing of web applications. The role involves designing, building, and executing automated test suites while continuously improving test coverage, quality, and reliability.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with at least one automation framework — Selenium or Playwright — along with solid programming or scripting skills.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and automation testing across application releases.
• Develop test automation using Selenium or Playwright.
• Contribute to test framework development, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Perform API testing and validation where required.
• Analyze test failures, identify defects, and work closely with developers through resolution.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to improve test coverage and overall application quality.

What We're Looking For

• 2–6 years of experience in QA, functional testing, and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one automation framework: Selenium or Playwright.
• Practical programming/scripting experience with Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Good understanding of web application testing, test design, and automation best practices.
• Experience with functional and regression testing.
• Exposure to API testing, CI/CD, Git, or Stonebranch is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to join immediately or within 2–3 weeks.
