Job description
About the role
This role focuses on supporting and maintaining network security controls, with an emphasis on PAN firewalls and related access technologies. The work involves keeping firewall and secure connectivity services operating reliably across the network.
What you'll do
- Configure and support Palo Alto firewalls and related security policies
- Work with Cisco ISE for network access control and authentication flows
- Support GlobalProtect remote access connectivity
- Troubleshoot SSL, IPsec, and Dot1x related issues
- Investigate and resolve network security and firewall incidents
- Collaborate on firewall changes and access requests as needed
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience with PAN firewalls and firewalls in general
- Working knowledge of Cisco ISE
- Experience with GlobalProtect, SSL, IPsec, and Dot1x
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network security issues
- Understanding of core networking concepts and secure connectivity
