Job description
About the role
This role supports the integration of Murex with downstream and post-trade systems, including confirmations, settlements, payments, accounting, and reporting platforms. It focuses on keeping data flowing accurately from trade capture through settlement and on maintaining stable downstream operations.
The position works closely with Operations, Finance, and IT teams to analyse requirements, design and support interfaces, troubleshoot issues, and assist with implementations, upgrades, and production support.
What you'll do
- Analyse business and operational requirements for Murex downstream and post-trade interfaces.
- Design, support, and troubleshoot MxML and batch interfaces with external systems.
- Investigate data breaks, reconciliation issues, and other production incidents.
- Use SQL, PLSQL, and Unix to perform data analysis and support issue resolution.
- Support the end-to-end trade lifecycle from trade capture through settlement.
- Contribute to testing, implementations, upgrades, and L2/L3 production support.
What we're looking for
- 6-9 years of experience in a Murex downstream or similar integration support role.
- Strong understanding of downstream processes such as confirmations, settlements, payments, accounting, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, PLSQL, and Unix for analysis and support work.
- Experience working with MxML and batch-based integration flows.
- Ability to troubleshoot reconciliation breaks and production issues.
- Experience collaborating with Operations, Finance, and IT teams.
