About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Murex Credit Risk Developer to join an Investment Banking engagement in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The role focuses on implementing and enhancing Credit Risk functionality within Murex MX.3, including counterparty risk, exposure calculations, credit limits, netting, collateral, PFE, and CVA.
What You'll Do
- Configure and enhance Murex Credit Risk components within MX.3.
- Work on counterparty risk, exposure calculations, and limit monitoring.
- Configure and support credit limits, netting, and collateral agreements.
- Work with exposure metrics including PFE and CVA.
- Develop and support credit risk calculations and reporting.
- Validate risk outputs and perform data analysis and reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot Credit Risk configuration, calculation, and reporting issues.
- Support SIT/UAT, Murex upgrades, implementations, and production activities.
- Collaborate closely with Risk, Front Office, and IT teams.
What We're Looking For
- 6–9 years of relevant experience with strong hands-on Murex Credit Risk expertise.
- Good knowledge of Murex MX.3 Credit Risk functionality.
- Experience with Counterparty Risk, PFE, CVA, Credit Limits, Netting, and Collateral.
- Experience configuring and supporting risk calculations and exposure monitoring.
- Strong understanding of credit risk reporting and validation.
- Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix for analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with testing, upgrades, implementation, and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working within Investment Banking / Capital Markets environments preferred.
- Willingness to relocate to and work onsite in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
