Job description
About the role
This role supports testing activities for Murex-related work, with a focus on automation and regression testing. You will work with senior testers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements, prepare test data, execute test scenarios, and help with issue analysis and resolution.
What you'll do
- Work with senior testers, developers, and business analysts to understand test requirements and scenarios.
- Prepare test data and support test execution activities.
- Execute regression testing cycles and report results clearly.
- Identify, log, and help track defects through resolution.
- Support issue analysis and assist in troubleshooting test failures.
- Contribute to automation testing using script-based tools where applicable.
What we're looking for
- Background in development or automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Mx Test, Selenium, QTP, or similar.
- Ability to work with test data preparation and test scenario execution.
- Experience supporting regression testing and defect analysis.
