Lead Full Stack Software Engineer – GenAI Lab

Experience: 5–8 Years Location Preference: Bhubaneswar → Ahmedabad → Bengaluru → Remote

We are hiring on behalf of our client who is building a GenAI Lab to develop next-generation AI applications and Agentic AI solutions.

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Full Stack Software Engineer with strong engineering fundamentals who can take ownership, work independently, and drive solutions from idea to production.

This role is ideal for a self-starter and problem solver. Strong communication, technical fundamentals, and the ability to make sound engineering decisions will be key selection criteria.

What You'll Do

• Design and build AI Agent and GenAI applications using Python, React and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable backend APIs, services, integrations, and modern user interfaces.
• Build and integrate AI Agents for enterprise use cases.
• Own features end-to-end — design, development, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with product, AI, design, and engineering teams.
• Participate in technical design discussions and conduct code reviews.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, automated testing, and engineering practices.

What We're Looking For

• 5–8 years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, React and TypeScript.
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, APIs, databases, application design, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with AWS/Azure and services such as Lambda, S3, ECS and Load Balancers.
• Strong commitment to unit, integration, and functional testing.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to independently drive technical work.

Good to Have

• GenAI / LLM application development experience.
• LangChain, LangGraph, OpenSearch / Elasticsearch.
• Experience building AI Agents or Agentic AI platforms.
• RAG and vector search concepts.
• OAuth2 / OIDC.
• CI/CD and Agile/Scrum experience.

Working Locations

As we are building a core team, our preference is primarily for Work from Office (WFO). Location preference, in order, is Bhubaneswar → Ahmedabad → Remote.
