Job description
About the role
This role focuses on assessing existing applications and defining clear migration and modernization strategies on AWS. You’ll work with application and infrastructure dependencies, 3-tier application architectures, and cloud services to shape practical target-state plans.
The role is centered on application migration work, with strong hands-on involvement in deep application assessments and modernization recommendations.
What you'll do
- Assess existing applications and identify migration and modernization paths on AWS
- Analyze 3-tier application architecture and related infrastructure dependencies
- Define application migration strategies and modernization approach
- Evaluate current-state systems to support target-state architecture decisions
- Work with AWS cloud services to shape migration solutions
- Document findings, recommendations, and implementation considerations
What we're looking for
- 12–16 years of experience in application architecture and cloud modernization
- Strong application migration experience is mandatory
- Deep understanding of 3-tier application architecture and infrastructure dependencies
- Hands-on experience conducting application assessments
- Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Ability to define migration and modernization strategies clearly
